I’ve been into sports all my life and I love the competitiveness of outdoor sports – I swim, surf, bike and play tennis. I also have a six year-long passion for soccer. Despite my busy schedule and pressures at work, i try to keep fit. So you might ask, why would i need a personal trainer? In the last two years I’ve sustained injuries from my sporting activities, and coping with the constant muscle pain was driving me nuts, not to mention the pain was slowing my progress to the point where there were times i almost gave up. Admittedly, the injuries were mostly due to over-training, an irregular diet and weak core muscles. I tried to decrease my training sessions and rest, but the pain always came back.

Then I met Irving. After a quick assesment, he told me that I had bad muscle imbalance and a poor core. Now, before this, I used to hate indoor sports, especially the gym, and i was a bit afraid of the unknown. But after training with Irving, I discovered that i was wrong. Not only am i having fun, my workouts don't revolve around static positions but include an amazingly challenging and dynamic programme! No two workout sessions are ever the same. Today, not only has my core strengthened , but my overall physical strength is significantly improved .

I’m working out with weights – something i never thought of doing before. Training with Irving is a real boost as well for someone like me who gets quickly bored with routine. And Irving also makes it fun: he is the Zinedane Zidane of challenging exercises, he pushes you to your limits yet he monitors your progress so you don't overdo it and injure yourself.

I know i still have a long way to go but I'm definitely getting better, slowly but surely. I'm now waiting for the day when I'm fully “repaired” and “fixed”, like a car, so that i can continue with even more challenging training sessions with Irving.

P/S: Sign up with Irving now and discover what a 'pitbull' and 'sleigh' can do for you!

As an avid participant in triathlon and other endurance sports I appreciate Pro Fit's functional approach to training. In endurance events efficiency of movement is paramount. Their style of training helps that to become second nature. My trainer gives a lot of thought to his training methods and always explains his thinking which helps me apply the philosophy behind those methods in my own training for the three triathlon disciplines of swimming, running and cycling as well as in the events themselves.

- Gary Pryke, 50, Lawyer (South Africa)

Before training with Pro Fit I was a flabby, lethargic waste of space.
Things have changed since ! Training twice a week has me looking and feeling loads better. Activities that would have me sweating and heaving previously are no longer a problem. I don't even get sick anymore ! Every trip to the gym is a magical journey involving sweat, grunting, and deliciously sore muscles, which always leaves me smiling and satisfied ! I look forward to each and every one of them!
Thank you Pro Fit for making me the man I am today.

I have been a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) practioner for 4 years, trained in Melbourne, Australia. When it was time to move back to Singapore, I was told by a friend to call Pro Fit. Upon my first meeting with my trainer, he shared the same vision I had; to maintain or even improve my training regime by sticking to CORE compound exercises, and exercises that stimulate many muscles all at once.
But most of all, the program and exercises prescribed were very fitting for the sport - Throughout the gym training, He worked with me to make the choices that brought out the different attributes that I need for future competitions. He understood my concerns of maintaining fitness levels and cardiovascular conditioning that I need for high-intensity performance in competitions.
The quality of the advice and coaching that I received exceeded my expectations.
My recent results at the SEA Grappling Games in Bangkok (17-18 March '07) where I received 2 silver medals speaks for the quality of personal training that I have received. This is one training program that I will enjoy for years to come!

Racing all over the world at speeds of 300 km/hr, there is little room for error. Therefore maintaining my peak physical and mental state is imperative. That's why I only train with the best. Irving Henson.

He ensures that my training regime covers specific areas and muscles related to the rigors of motor racing. His guidance and support has been instrumental in my consistant performance on the track.

I signed up with Irving because I witnessed the results he effected for a colleague of mine who got fit and lost a tremendous amount of weight. I am now proud to say that I no longer have to be envious from afar as I now enjoy the same admiration from others!

I genuinely look forward to my training sessions with Irving because of the results I know I can achieve. He keeps each session fun, interactive and makes it a learning experience. Irving makes the effort to explain the exercises he puts me through to help me understand its benefits. He tailors his approach to fit my needs, and I know it is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Most importantly, Irving cares - he cares about his clients and about his profession. He is passionate about personal training as a way of life, and not just another fitness fad. He provides pragmatic advice on maintaining a balanced regime of healthy eating with exercise, and I have never felt deprived. He understands I am human and closes an eye to my odd indulgence of chocolate, although I am quickly reminded of my indiscretion when I realise I am doing additional squats or push-ups!

The results I have achieved from personal training have surprised me. Beyond the physical, I also feel fitter mentally. It has provided me with a greater consciousness of my physiological make-up which has helped me avoid unnecessary injury and improve my performance in other activities I am passionate about - scuba diving and yoga. I have since become a champion for personal training which to me, is synonymous with Irving Henson.

It was Chinese New Year 2005. Instead of feeling like celebrating, I was miserable. I was 10kg overweight, I didn't look good in anything I wore - visiting relatives and friends was the last thing I felt up to. One day at work, I was surprised - and amazed - to notice two colleagues looking trim and fit almost overnight. I asked them how they did it. I got a common answer: Irving Henson.

I knew it was pointless making another new year resolution to lose weight - it would never happen because I knew I was going to be too lazy. Neither am I the type to diet, so exercise was really the best option for me. Incredibly, despite how unfit I was, after three or four personal training sessions with Irving, not only did the initial aches disappear, I found I could do the exercises well plus I was enjoying myself as Irving varies every workout so I am constantly challenged and never bored.

In just four months and two sessions a week, I lost 8kg...almost all the weight I'd piled on in three years. It's amazing, never in my wildest dreams did I think I could do it. Along with the weight loss, my thyroid problem and high cholesterol stabilised and I achieved my ideal weight. It's great to be able to buy 'S' size clothes again, and altering my old suits down by two sizes was a definite confidence booster. What's more, i never tire of people telling me how great I look, as good as I used to be pre-marriage and pre-motherhood! Training with Irving is one of the best investments I've made in my life!

Thanks to personal training and a proper diet, I lost 23 kilos in 6 months! Today, I am fitter, stronger, and have much more energy. Working out on my own was not getting me the results I wanted, which was why I decided to sign up for personal training. I needed that guidance and push which only a trainer can provide. My sessions with Irving were intensive, but it was also fun and energetic. I found that when pushed to the limit, I actually performed better than I thought I could. Coupled with a sensible diet recommended by Irving, I finally got the lean, muscular physique I wanted.

I thought I was doing really well, going to the gym 3 times a week, doing my own routine, same thing each week. Then I got my photos back. My God! Was that really me? I looked more like Sponge Bob Square Pants! Something had to be done. I needed help!

Help came in the shape of Irving. The same energy I had put in my own workout routines was now channeled and used in a more efficient way. There were many times when I thought I couldn't do the things Irving asked me to do - chin ups, squats (I've had 2 knee operations before I started training. By the way, come November 2003 I'd be doing a 100km charity walk across Hong Kong!), kneel on a fit ball while doing my workout, etc,. But to my surprise, I could, and did! The sessions were hard, but they were always fun! The results have been great. My body fat has gone from 34% to 19.8%! Sometime ago, I tried my wedding dress from 13 years ago and it would not fit, obviously because I had put on weight after 2 kids. I recently tried it on again, and it still would not fit - but this time, it was because it was too loose!

From someone who was shy to be seen in a pair of shorts and t-shirt, I've become more confident about the way I look. How? By losing 10 kilos, and 2 inches off my waist! After four months of training, I can now fit into the jeans I wore 19 years ago. I look good, and most of all, I FEEL GREAT! I wake up every morning alive and ready to face the day!

After 6 months of living in Singapore I had put on a stone in weight - Singapore is an eating & drinking place! Having decided I needed to do something about it I started working out with Irving - thankfully Irving has been able to show me that Singapore is a much better place when you're lighter, fitter and healthier.

I used to work out in the gym by myself but it is only since training with Irving that I've realised how beneficial it is to be trained by a professional - Irving has an in-depth knowledge of how to train effectively to produce the results you want to see and make you laugh while you're doing it. He has become a very good friend as well as trainer and I believe teaming up with Irving is one of the smartest moves I've made since moving here.

Though I was keeping fit for years through running, swimming and boxercise classes, I was getting bored of my routine and needed a new challenge. While I had stamina and cardiovascular fitness, I lacked strength and my body needed toning as well. Over a few months of personal training, I have not only seen my body get leaner and more buff, I feel stronger and fitter than ever before. I've been getting compliments on my new improved body, but the biggest compliments were from people who started asking me if I was a personal trainer myself!

When I first started working out with Irving two years ago, I could barely lift my fat ass off the couch. Now I'm hoping to qualify for the 2004 Olympic Power Lifting team! Joking. In two short years I went from flab-master, to ab-master. Irving rocks!

Irving is a seasoned professional. He identifies a client's needs and requirements and develops a specific program that is tailor made to produce results. Irving has helped me achieve my personal fitness goals and improved my overall strength, balance and flexibility.

I've always loved exercising but lacked the motivation to stay consistent. I also had misconceptions about women working out in the gym. Still, I remembered how good it felt to be fit and since I already knew Irving, I decided to give fitness another go. At first the sessions were tough and my muscles ached, but my friends and I could see a difference right from the first month, so that kept me going. Physically, I'm a lot fitter and stronger, my clothes fit better and my posture has also improved. Psychologically, I'm more confident, better able to handle stress and my outlook on life is a lot more positive. I look forward to my training sessions because not only does my trainer challenge me to go beyond my limits and makes me feel good about myself, I also get a good laugh and a chance to de-stress as Irving has a great sense of humour.

I've been exercising most of my life, but got more involved in endurance exercises for the past 5 years. Ran 2 marathons, 2003 and 2005. But my lower back pain was bothering me a lot. My physiotherapist Ms Saratha treated me well. But the back pain kept coming back as I continued my training. She realized that my 'core' muscles were weak and recommended Irving. Meanwhile I began my 1st triathlon training and my back was still bothering me quite a bit. I began my 'core' muscles strengthening exercises in early May. Since then I only saw my physiotherapist once. After five sessions with Irving I completed the Olympic distance Triathlon July 2006 in 2hr 47min, top 30% in my age group. Above all, I hardly had any lower back pain. Currently, I'm preparing for the NUS triathlon to be held in August 06. My back feels great and I can focus on my training. Thank you Irving for helping me to achieve greater heights.

- Manimaran Sivasamy, 38, Doctor (Singapore)

After three kids, I wanted to regain - and maintain - my pre-pregnancy body. I also wanted to tone and strengthen specific parts of my body. Training with Irving, whom I met through a mutual friend, maximised my workout. I got into shape quicker and more efficiently than if I had spent five hours a day in the gym working out on my own. My posture also improved tremendously - I wear high heels all the time and I was at risk of suffering chronic lower backache - but Irving not only helped strengthen my back but he also taught me the correct form to adopt when working out. This was important in minimising injury, something I probably couldn't have done on my own. Not only is Irving an excellent trainer - he constantly changes my routine so that I'm never bored and my body is always challenged - I find him very knowledgeable when it comes to health and fitness. He takes the time to explain each exercise and its benefits, and the proper way to execute them, instead of just putting me through the paces. He's also very amusing, and I have a good laugh coupled with a good workout each session.

Irving's great strength as a personal trainer is his uniqueness as an individual...

He makes people feel at ease... His magnetic personality and abundant sense of humour allow him to establish massive rapport, it seems, with anyone from all walks of life...

Training with him is a full-on holistic experience... one feels they are in the presence of a consummate professional who knows how to mesh all different types of training disciplines to "hit the big stuff" and makes great things happen... and yet, also, in the stimulating company of a giving and trusted friend...

It is a winning combination indeed!...

You want to go the extra mile?... this guy will take you the distance... and then some!

- Frank Drew, Master Trainer, Les Mills International (Australasia)

After months of training with Pro-Fit, I've trimmed up around the waist area, I've increased my body mass and I look better than I have in years. I now sleep better and have more energy to get through my long days. I feel great!! I don't just look and feel better, but my recent health screening shows that I'm 100% healthy on the inside as well. I have Pro-Fit to thank for much of the improvement in terms of my physical well being.

Since living in Singapore for the past two and a half years, I have always exercised regularly but had got caught in a fitness rut. I was sick of running on the treadmill and finding it hard to get motivated. The weight had started to creep on. On a recommendation, I started working out with Irving twice a week and began to see results pretty much over night. Irving listened to what I said I wanted to achieve, i.e lose weight and become more lean, I definitely didn't want to bulk up. I am very pleased with the results, and Irving varies the workouts from week to week so that I never get bored. Plus he is a nice guy so the hour goes by in a flash. I recommended him to a work colleague who is also very pleased - Irving gets results!

- Melanie Andersen, 28, Team Leader (Australia)

I got to know Irving through a group exercise instructor who himself, trains with Irving. I had two main objectives for signing up with a gym - firstly, I am a nationally ranked tennis player. In recent years, the game has gotten faster and more powerful, and it's not due to advancements in racquet technology. I truly needed to get stronger and faster. Secondly, I wanted a leaner physique.

Training with Irving is quite an experience. He pushes you to your limits. Limits that are nearly impossible on your own. Twice a week sessions with Irving has improved my sprints and I have clocked better times for distance runs during my tennis training. I've also gotten much leaner. More importantly, I've discovered a big secret to mental toughness. Your mind gives up earlier than what your body can take. Irving has taught me that. It has benefited me not just in tennis, but also in many aspects of my everyday life.

- Tan Xu Teng, 23, NUS Undergrad (Singapore)

Being 46 isn't easy but my body feels better than it has in 20 years! I am fortunate to have Irving as my personal trainer. I am generally a lazy person who needs to be inspired to work out. It is great having someone whose warmth, enthusiasm and humour makes working out fun! He has always been professional in every way. His knowledge, attention to detail and ability to motivate encourages me to stick with my program. No matter how I feel when I enter the gym, I always leave feeling great! His dedication has helped me in so many ways that I have not only lost weight, but feel so much more confident in myself. I played a game of tennis recently and felt great afterwards. I have even started doing more outdoor activities, such as horseback riding on the weekends with my family. At my age, I did not think I could feel so fit, strong and comfortable with my body. Irving is a committed personal trainer and I feel lucky to be training with him.

- Sabina Lall, 46, Teacher (Canada)

I started working out with Pro-Fit a year ago, when I moved to Singapore. I had been training for 3 years with a personal trainer in Jakarta and I also have a martial arts background.

I began training 3 times a week, as I wanted to get back into shape quickly. To my surprise, I saw tremendous improvement after only a month. My fitness level went up; I became leaner and most importantly, I felt really good. Being over 40, but feeling better than I ever did in my 20s, is an incredible feeling!

Training with Pro-Fit is the best thing I have done for myself. Not only is my trainer an excellent personal trainer, but also a good friend. He is always capable of transforming a gruelling session into a fun but challenging experience.

He constantly upgrades himself with new developments in fitness to ensure he offers his clients the best exercises to fit their goals. He uses a vast range of training disciplines - the stability ball, medicine ball, resistance bands, functional training, power training, etc.

I am really fortunate to have met these professional trainers. Thanks to them, I look good, and I feel good!

I was looking for a personal trainer to help me prepare for the Action Asia Challenge. This was in August 2004 and the race was in October 2004. I chanced upon Irving Henson via the net and wrote him an email detailing the race, my fitness level and what I needed to achieve. I remember telling Irving at our first meeting that I was 1.5 on a fitness scale of 10, have not seriously exercised for more than 10 years (apart from golf and some tennis with my daughter), had my ACL reconstructed almost 2 years ago, and that I had 3 months to prepare for a 58km race that included trekking, kayaking, mountain biking, ocean swimming, and abseiling. He did not balk. Instead, he explained what we needed to do and that we should aim for completion and avoid injury. He also advised getting a full medical before starting. So thus begins the adventure of getting fit for the race. By the way, I entered the race to raise funds for a charity.

Gym work was 3 times a week, concentrating on strengthening the core muscles (abs, back and legs) during the 1st month. This was painful, fun and educational as Irving was a great motivator, explaining the technique and the reason for the exercise. 1 hour passed by quickly each session. The 2nd months' regime included endurance and motion training and the last month was maintenance. Irving advised on dieting and aerobics as well. In between gym work with Irving, I ran, biked and hiked. By the 3rd month, I was able to bike 20km and run/trek 20km at a go.

Irving was a God-send and if not for him I would not have been able to complete the race and the charity would not have benefited. Thanks very much Irving.

I am now fitter and trimmer and am still continuing my work outs with Irving.

- Paul Tang, 44, Managing Director, US Investment Bank (Singapore)

Thanks to Irving I’m a lot fitter now, and I’ve lost inches having toned up considerably in just 6 months of training. His method is clearly effective, partly because it works multiple muscle groups in each exercise (smart!), and partly because he focuses on the training and doesn’t fuss with BMI, the scales, tape measures. So forget the gimmicks; if you want to train hard and improve your overall fitness, Irving will help you reach your goals.

- Caroline Watson ( England)

I have been training with Cain for 3 years. Before that I was constantly having lower back pain. With the advise from my chiropractor, I started a personal training program with Cain.

He designed a training regime that improved my flexibility and strengthened my core muscles.

Cain works wonders! He is an excellent trainer. The results speaks for itself and I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their health and fitness. Thank you again, Cain.

I moved to Singapore one year ago and, like many expatriate wives, instantly had extra time on my hands. I was turning 30 in a few months and I decided that it was time for me to focus on getting fit. I wanted to lose some weight that I had accumulated over years of sedentary work as well as achieve the level of fitness that I could maintain for the rest of my life. I’ve never used the services of a personal trainer before thinking that I could accomplish my goals on my own with some kickboxing or aerobics classes. However, once I met Irving, I realized that it was about more than just losing weight and I could tell instantly that he was prepared to help me make it happen more thoroughly than I could ever do on my own.

Over the past year, I have seen a marked increase in my physical strength. But most importantly, I have gained confidence in myself as an athlete again. Exercise has transitioned from something I “have to do” into something I “want to” do each day. With Irving’s motivation, I have done more already than I thought I could a year ago and I am sure I will continue to get stronger and leaner as we keep working together.

Aside from Irving, I have had first hand experience with many of the other ProFit trainers due to my occasional schedule shift. Irving has put together a top-notch team. They keep each session funny and light all while making sure you understand why you are doing the exercise. While I love working out with Irving, it is never an issue when we need to switch it up. I think this is a sign of a well-run company and an excellent team of highly skilled trainers.

The only thing I regret about my time with ProFit is that it will have to end when I move back to the USA.

- Courtney Smith, 30, Executive Producer (USA)

Whenever someone talks about exercising in the past, my immediate response would be, "I'm allergic to exercise". This liner has served me well but after seeing a few loved ones suffer health issues in the recent years, I thought it's about time I changed my tune.

But exercising on my own was out due to a serious lack of self-motivation and a fear of injury. I also had a couple of bad experiences with a big name gym, so fitness chains were also not my cup of tea. So I thought, how about a personal trainer? I started shopping around for one and my search ended with Cain from Pro-Fit.

Right from the onset, Pro-Fit was giving me all the right vibes. No pushy sales talk? Check. Well-qualified trainers? Check. A customised and sustainable training programme that fits my needs, i.e. I'm human and don't do well with rabbit food? Check. And with that, I put pen to paper and signed up.

So far, training sessions with Cain have been challenging, as he'll make sure that you don't plateau in your comfort zone. But they are not so tough that you feel like you want to quit. Plus, he makes it lots of fun, so before you know it, an hour has passed, then another hour and soon, you start seeing changes. I'm definitely still in the process of feeling fitter and stronger but I'm sure Cain will be there with me every step of the way.

- Jacyn Tan, 32. Working professional

I am not a fitness freak but i wanted to keep myself fit to travel and hike and do reasonable activities as I grew 'older' chronogically.I tried several gym instructors and always ultimately gave up and lost motivation and dropped out and didn’t do my suggested exercises at home. then I was introduced to Wesley at Pro Fit. I was initially wary and wondered if I was wasting time and money again but Wes was different. My scheduling was difficult because of work but he has always been flexible and Understanding. He worked out a programme for me and I find I actually do the home exercises! He is knowledgeable and scientific in his explanations as to why and how the exercises work for me. He is so encouraging that I (for a change) am still carrying on with the exercises after a year......that says a lot for Wes. Thank you Wes for your encouragment.

- Rachael Pereira

My name is Archi Denis I’m a 17 year old male from Paris France. I am in school studying and enjoy music and sports. I have had an unlucky sporting career so far. When I was 15 after a skateboarding accident I tore my ACL ligament and my meniscus on my left knee. I had my first operation at the age of 16. A year latter this time due to a rugby accident, I tore my meniscus on my left knee again. Now almost a year after, with the help of my parents and my trainer Nifal Johannes, I am confident to say that I feel like I am stronger then ever.

I started to train with Nifal 2 months after my second knee operation. It was very difficult to get motivated as I had almost lost hope of fully recovering, but with Nifal everything seemed easy. He always has a smile on his face and really takes the time to understand me. He is all about enjoying your time at the gym( but sometimes I have to wake up the next day and feel as if my arms are about to drop off.) I have been going to the gym with Nifal for almost 10 months. It’s been really great, but more importantly productive. I went in with low esteem on the strength and tone of my arms. Today I am happy to say that after a lot of exercises I am happy with my arms and biceps. Nifal knows his profession very well. He is truly a professional trainer. He has taught me so much about myself and my body, yet always making it fun.

I recommend Nifal to anyone that wants to get in shape. I mean if you want to have a great workout and at the same time make a new friend Nifal is the way to go. He truly knows what he is doing and really wants to help you get to where you want to be

- Archi Denis, 17 Student

When I started training with Nifal, I told him my goals are to be body beautiful (focus on my arms) and more importantly my husband wants a fit and healthy wife. He must have thought I’m the perfect client to work with…one with goals! He didn’t know that I was one who detested working out. Nonetheless, he managed to motivate and encourage me every step of the way, even something like skipping, he had to cheer me on. With each session he slowly builds my strength & coordination, and by letting me know my baby improvements, he slowly builds my confidence. I began to feel stronger after each session, and despite the muscle soreness, I actually began to enjoy training. I’m enjoying my twice a week training with him, and he’s a sweet guy, who checks on you the next day after a hard workout to see if you’re still ‘alive’. My body beautiful goal is work in progress…as for the husband, he’s happy that Nifal has taken over the role of ‘whipping’ me into a fit and healthy wife.

- Caroline Chua, 36. Property Consultant

Training with Nifal helped me to increase both my strength and endurance, which improved my ability on the mountain bike. I was new to exercises that focused on core strength but quickly found them to help my balance on the bike which has made my pedaling more efficient. I was able to take second place in a team mountain biking race earlier this year and plan to test my running endurance by competing in December's Singapore marathon.

- Harry Farrell, 40. Fund manager

Nifal has been my instructor since April 2007. The personal training sessions with him are always exciting and challenging as new strategies are often introduced - never a dull moment. It is through these sessions that I’ve learnt the mechanics of how different muscles work and how to optimise each session in the gym. Techniques of using core muscles and its importance has always been an emphasis during these sessions. I must share that I only learnt the correct way of doing push ups after training with Nifal, through his scaffolded training technics. Nifal has also taught me how to work on my own on other days of the week. The exercise regime is customized according to the individual needs. All the Pro Fit instructors are extremely friendly and I always feel that I’m part of family.

- Alan Soong, 40. Faculty Developer

You change my life so much that I have to change all my trousers and shirts! Thank you Wesley! More seriously, my wife Marilisa tells me that people should use a coach rather than a shrink, it helps the soul as much as the body.

- Olivier Parriaud, 41, director at Credit Agricole Private Bank

I have had the opportunity to train under Wesley and Cain. Overall, I love how the exercise regimes are strategically customised to fit each individual's body type. Additionally, they make training sessions enjoyable as they are both motivating and sincere about what they do as fitness instructors. That's why I'm extending my sessions with Pro-Fit for the long term.

- Leonara Quah

Wesley has been training me since October 2007, at which time I was feeling pretty over weight and quite unfit. Eleven months later, I'm slimmer and I'm feeling stronger and fitter than I've ever been. While I have been a runner for several years - completing five or six half marathons and one full marathon - I have always been a bit injury prone. The strength training I have done with Wesley has changed that. Wesley's beloved Bulgarian split squat and one-legged squats have improved my stability and leg strength exponentially - I can now do a long run of 15-18km without muscle soreness the next day. Wesley has also worked hard on my upper body. I can do lots of push-ups, including some with exotic names like "spider-man push-ups" and "t-pushups", and I'm working my way towards being able to do a pull-up. What I have really appreciated about training with Wesley is that he pushes me harder than I would push myself if left to my own devices and he is ambitious about what I can achieve with my fitness. He has also taught me a lot about strength training that I will be able to take away with me when I return to Australia. Wesley is a pleasure to train with not only because he is so professional and knowledgeable, but also because he is such a nice guy.

- Heather, 32, Researcher

I started training with Wesley 3 months ago. I have to admit that after not paying attention to my health and body for 20 years, I had a long way to go.

I started a progressive training programme with Wesley. The prime objective was to loose weight and fat. I have been amazed by the pace of progress and results obtained in such a short time. Those results were possible thanks to Wesley's balance of dynamism, positivism and professionalism. I therefore strongly recommend Wesley's programme and wish all similar success as Wesley and I achieved together.

When I began with Raphael I had ongoing knee pain due to an injury 10 years earlier, chronic lower back pain and constant lethargy – these issues combined and I could barely muster the motivation or drive to do any exercise and I seemed to find myself constantly reaching for the fridge door for food!! 3 months on and I am a changed person, I have lost over 13kg now and I look forward to the fun and exciting sessions that Raphael puts together for me, barely remember my back and knee pain and find that lethargy is a thing of the past. My outlook on health and life is completely different and I feel like the new improved “me”. The icing on the cake is that people around me have noticed and have been asking what my secret is!

My specific personal trainer Raphael has been a breath of fresh air. He is an intelligent fitness professional with a solid background in the health industry and is up to date with the best methods for training and “working on” key problem areas. Raphael made me feel comfortable from the first session and always managed to fit lots of laughs into the training program he put together for me – this made the sessions even more fun and his relaxed but professional attitude made me really feel confident in his abilities. Raphael has made every session about improving my health and I always walk away looking forward to the next one!

What I have liked most about the team at Profit is that each and every member treats me like a true client and makes me feel “at home”. The team are focused on a holistic approach to personal training and understand that each client has different needs, different physical limits and fitness goals. I have shocked myself in nearly every training session at the level I am able to push myself to now and I owe it all to Raphael and his commitment to training me in a safe but exciting environment.

The whole Profit team have truly become my friends and now that I have relocated to Australia I will find it very difficult to find a team of trainers with the same level of commitment to their profession and dedication to their clients. Thank you Profit for helping me discover the “new me”; life is so much better now as a result!

Personal training has helped me build my strength and flexibility and taught me to activate muscles that I never knew existed. It has made me more conscious of my muscle movements, control and co-ordination and as such has reduced the incidents of back sprains and strains

Dear Cain

Juz a word of thanks as to what your training has done for me..

I used to have this neck & back problems for years due to stress and it was so bad that I could not even move my head from left to right and had to endure this for many years. No amount of physio and chiropractic therapy could solve my problem till Frederic introduced me to PROFIT and for the past few months under your training, I've really solve this neck & back problems and finally getting back to my normal life. The stretching exercises and movements which you taught has been superb help for me and also doing it the right way also was very important.

DThe other problem with my left knee which has been bothering me for years has also improved so tremendously that I can now walk and run without having to worry about this weak left knee at all.

Once again my sincere thanks for putting my life back to normal and teaching me how to look after my own body too!

I started personal training with Cain somewhere in October 2004. Since day one, Cain has been very attentive and observant to my conditions in every session before we start and therefore, will plan the training program accordingly. There is seldom any repetition in every session I did with him and it helps to motivate me to looking forward to my Saturday training every week.

From a non-athlete prior to 2004, I have become very fit in terms of my overall wellness through the last few years of training with Cain and have built up full confidence in myself in everything I do as well. This is because, during my personal training with Cain, he has also become my friend and confidant who encourages and motivates me constantly.

Towards the 3rd quarter of 2006, Cain started to build up my cardio tolerance and it was very tough at that time. However, I have never looked back since then as it built up my confidence in my running, which I have always put off. I even signed up for the 5km 2007 Shape-Run in August 07. I clock-in at 43mins for my 1st 5km run which is quite an achievement for a non-runner like me.

Cain encourages me to take up the 10km this year saying that he has confidence that I will be able to complete the race. With his encouragement and training program specifically tailored to my running, I went for my 1st 10km Shape Run this July and clock-in at 83mins which he has anticipated that I will be able to complete within 90mins. This is a really a great achievement and encouragement to me. I will continue running and compliment it with my personal training with Cain to strengthen the core muscles for running.

I would like to say a big “THANK YOU” to Cain for being my personal trainer, friend and confidant. Without his encouragement and motivation, I will not be the athlete I am today and the envy of my friends for the great fit body I am having now.
